Conference Registration & Accommodation

To register for the 9th International Outdoor Education Research Conference, including excursions register online here   Day and whole conference rates available. Once the registration form and payment are received, confirmation email and receipt of payment will be issued.

Delegate Full Conference Rate Includes

  • Lunch each day from Tuesday to Friday
  • Attendance at chosen sessions at the conference
  • All conference literature, delegate pack and badge
  • WiFi access
  • Barbeque evening
  • Céilí and conference dinner
  • An afternoon excursion

Conference Venue

Nestled in the heart of The Lake District National Park, the Ambleside Campus is the only university campus in the UK located in a UNESCO World Heritage site. The compact and friendly campus is just a short walk away from Ambleside town centre and a short bus ride away from iconic towns like Grasmere, Keswick, and Windermere with great restaurants, quirky bars, and top Lake District attractions to discover.

Accommodation

For delegates requiring overnight accommodation on campus, places can be booked with conference registration. Places are limited so please book early. A wide range of alternative accommodation, to suit every budget, is also available close to the Ambleside Campus. Camping is also an option at the National Trust campsite at Low Wray five miles from Ambleside (linked by a cycle path). Please follow this link for further details.
