PARKING AT AMBLESIDE CAMPUS
We recommend that you find accommodation with free parking in Ambleside, as students/guests at the University of Cumbria are not entitled to free parking on campus.
The only parking permit available for less than the full year is a 12 week permit. This still works out cheaper than paying for parking each day at the Pay-and-Display meters on campus. http://www.cumbria.ac.uk/StudentLife/Travel/CarParking.aspx

For those not using the University’s accommodation, it may be helpful to search websites such as www.trivago.com, www.laterooms.com, www.hotels.com or www.booking.com to find the best deals (other accommodation websites are available). Please use ‘Ambleside Central’ or Postcode LA22 9BB for your destination, as some sites list accommodation which may not be located within walking distance of the campus.
